Originally from St. Louis, MO, the 2017 graduate from Lindbergh High School enrolled in the University of Arkansas’ exercise science program with plans to work in healthcare. Ferrahs Abdelbaset’s, DC (’08) introduction to chiropractic traces back to the early 2000s after getting the opportunity to shadow a graduate from Logan University’s Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) program. It was during this experience he discovered his passion for whole health care. Sarah Carter, PhD, joined Logan as an assistant professor in 2014 when she began teaching courses for the university’s online Doctor of Health Professions Education degree, which is now the Doctor of Education in Health Professions Education (Ed.D.) program. She worked closely with Ed.D. program director Laura Rauscher, PhD, LPC, NCC, ACS, CTMH, CCATP to grow the program and the courses she was teaching.
